Imam okotie has arrested by the Delta State Police Command who held jumat service at the Ekakpamre Central Mosque in ughelli South Local Government Area, Which violating the prohibition on gathering in the state.
The Imam was arrested about 11am on Friday, may, 1 2020. The Delta State Commisioner Of Police, Hafiz Muhammed inuwa, had ordered his arrest a few days ago.
The imam okotie was arrested by disobeying with the law of stay-at-home and social distancing ordered of the state government and led hundreds of Islamic faithful in congregational jumat service.
