The Osun State Task Force has arrested seventeen Chinese national, according to the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor Gboyega oyetola, the suspected were arrested following a coordinated sting operations in ilesa ife area of the state.
He reported the case that the miners have been polluting Osun River With poisonous metals aside the economy leakages, therefore making it unsafe for human consumption and irrigation.
The osun state governor's aide added that the result is what we are witnessing today.
Apart from flouting government order to stay at home so as to contain the spread of corona virus, they have created environmental disaster for us by poisoning our river which is a major public concern
